Attribution/Credit License (Suggested Donation)

This license is for PERSONAL use only. If you are a freelancer, a business, plan on monetizing the material, or using material in advertisements, you must purchase a license.
The Attribution/Credit license is NOT valid for monetization.
Music is licensed under our Attribution/Credit license for some limited personal uses, which means you must credit our work by including the below information in an easily accessible location:
If you don’t want to, are not allowed to, or cannot credit our music for whatever reason, you’ll need to purchase the appropriate license.
If you need the music in lossless audio format (WAV files), you’ll need to purchase the appropriate license.
If your project is covered by any of our other licenses, you’ll need to purchase the appropriate license.
If you are not sure which is the correct license for your use or if you want to discuss a commissioned piece or exclusive rights, please contact us and we are happy to help.
Vidoes YouTube, Vimeo, etc. credits can be placed in the video description, credits, or on-screen overlay.

Video Games License needed. Credits are commonly placed on a "Credits" screen found in the settings menu.
Live Production Credits should be placed in the program for the production. If no program exists, a voice announcement can be made. License needed, if paid performance.
Films License needed. Credits should be placed in the credits portion of the film, either before or after the main film section.
Podcast/Audio Production License needed. Credits can be voiced - usually at the end of the production.
TV/Radio Ads License needed. Credits may be shown visually in the production, or done as a voice-over in audio-only media.
Music on Hold License needed. Credits may be voiced-over for each piece of music used.
Background Music License needed. Credits may be posted in a public area of the retail space.

Do I have to put the credit where people can see it?

Yes. Credits change from media to media - but in general a credit needs to be placed such that a person who wants to know where the music came from should have no difficulty in finding it. A reasonable effort may be expended (e.g. clicking on a credits option), but the credit should not be hidden or obscured. See the Attribution chart for examples.

Use a font size large enough to easily read with the naked eye, and display it for long enough so that the average person would be able to read all the information.

What if I cannot credit you?

If you are unable or unwilling to provide appropriate credit for whatever reason, a license is needed.
